Meet Dave

David Kutch is a 33 time Grammy Nominated Mastering Engineer (Billie Eilish, HER, Jay Z, Beyonce, The Weeknd, Karol G) and a Latin Grammy Record of the Year winner for Luis Fonsi’s international hit “Despacito”.  He is also the owner of The Mastering Palace in New York City.

David’s career began working alongside legendary artists, producers, and engineers in NYC’s best recording studios including The Hit Factory, Powers House of Sound, Masterdisk, and Sony Studios.  

In 2007 he built his own studio, The Mastering Palace where he still works today with an ever-increasing list of incredibly talented artists including, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, Alicia Keys, Black Pink, Karol G, Zara Larsson, Katy Perry, Calvin Harris, Afrojack, Janelle Monáe, Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Becky G, Andra Day, Ozzy Osbourne, Carlos Vives, Kurt, Juanes, Alvaro DeLuna, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, Black Bear,  XXXTentacion, Camila Cabello, Zac Brown Band, and the list goes on……

Not only has The Mastering Palace’s client list grown but so has the list of services provided. From cutting Vinyl Masters on our completely refurbished Neumann VMS 70 lathe to Dolby ATMOS mixes, we can provide our artists with every possible master needed.
